The Partner System provides resources, tools and evaluation metrics to schools, worksites and early childcare centers that wish to create an environment that values healthy and active lifestyles.

ACTIVE Life Partner Schools are leaders in the ACTIVE Life Movement. When you sign up as an ACTIVE Life Partner School, you have access to a system that helps to improve your school health and advance the ACTIVE Life Movement through the students, families and staff.

ACTIVE Life Partner Worksites create an atmosphere that encourage and support the ACTIVE lifestyle. Partner Worksites will have access to an interactive site profile, health-related effort coordination and implementation tools and free resources. All these components help you work towards the goal of making the worksite healthier!

ACTIVE Life Partner Childcare Centers provide young children and families with a great introduction to the ACTIVE Lifestyle. This system provides the framework and numerous resources that help to create and enhance healthy environments for youth, staff and families.

Thanks so much for your interest in becoming a part of the Community Challenge!

The Community Challenge begins every October and runs through the following May. It brings together high school students and professionals or college students in groups of ten to form a squad that is focused on inspiring healthier lifestyles for themselves, those they know and the general community. In addition to improving health, by doing a great job in the Challenge, all of the high school students on the Top 3 Squads and one exceptional student will win scholarships towards higher education.

Here's a summary of what it takes to become a Top Squad:

• Complete an online Weekly Health Journal and post a response to a Weekly Blog topic
• Invite 10 people each into the squad's social network
• Get together once a month for a group activity or event
• Launch a health-focused community service project
• Complete online training and certificate programs like ACTIVE Leader and/or Junior Health Educator
• Post photos and videos of the squad's work together
