H-E-B is one of the nation’s largest independently owned food retailers serving families in Texas and Mexico with over 300 stores and 56,000 employees. H-E-B is known for its strong commitment to the communities it serves. H-E-B is showing an equally strong commitment to health and wellness through their support of the ACTIVE Life Movement and the relaunched H-E-Buddy, a line of foods and products aimed at kids with no high-fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated oils, as well as a restricted number of calories from fat, saturated fat and sugar.

The ACTIVE Life Movement is proud of its alliance with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX). Both are working together to inspire and empower all Texans to live healthy, ACTIVE lives. BCBSTX serves 4 million members in all 254 Texas counties, which includes employer groups, individuals and government units, providing traditional and consumer-directed health insurance products, including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, and medical management/behavioral health services.

Waste Management (WM), based in Houston, Texas, is the leading provider of comprehensive waste management services in North America. As America’s leading recycler, WM has supported research and preventative programming demonstrating that health and environmental causes are intrinsically connected. In working with ACTIVE Life, Waste Management has demonstrated its commitment to this connection by supporting ACTIVE Life’s Community Challenge Program and the Honor Zone of the ACTIVE Life Tour.

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation works to transform the lives of children living in urban poverty through better health and education. The Foundation is supporting the ACTIVE Life Movement and has been instrumental in our ability to launch the Community Challenge Program.

The Dell Foundation gives back to the communities where their employees live and work, making meaningful contributions to their neighbors. The Dell Foundation has generously supported the development of the ACTIVE Life Movement, including the upcoming ACTIVE-8 Program and the newly launched Community Challenge Program.

St. David's Foundation
The St. David's Foundation provides financial support to those who serve children, the elderly, the ill and the homeless and invests in care for the underserved and uninsured through hospital care in the six St. David's hospitals and primary care in local safety-net clinics. The St. David’s Foundation supports the ACTIVE Life Movement principally through the organization’s afterschool and family-based programming in Central Texas.
